Rough is exactly right. The Momentum Studio is designed for the messy beginning — when you have a direction but not a destination. The program requires you to be focused on one problem space (not exploring 2–3 simultaneously), but if you have a problem you want to solve with AI and you're ready to commit 4–6 hours per week, you're ready. The only thing that's too early is having no idea at all.
That's fantastic! We often find that founders make one or more of these mistakes: focusing on their network for initial research, lowering the bar on their definition of 'Ideal' Customer Profile, building before validating, extrapolating too early, believing in polite feedback, or not asking the hard questions — "Why now?", "Why haven't you tried Product X?", "What happens if you do nothing?" The program helps you do this right, not just fast.
Plan for 4–6 hours per week. That includes weekly sessions and peer reviews (1–1.5 hrs), 1:1 mentor reviews (1 hr), and execution, interviews, and research (3–5 hrs). This isn't a passive program — you're doing real work every week. But it's focused work with clear outputs, not busywork. Most founders tell us it's the most productive hours of their week because every hour has a clear purpose and a deliverable attached to it.
